As I put pen to paper, these words were intended to inspire thought, question where we are now and where we are going, and give a sense of not being on this journey alone. I am encouraged that the reader will find hope, solace, and information between the lines of these short stories and writings. The stories are based upon life experiences by the author or persons whom have touched this author’s life and inspired her along her journey.  The names, events and accounts have been changed to protect the privacy and feelings of others, notwithstanding the message is not lost.  I believe we all have the strength of a thousand men, if only we had the courage to tap into it.
