Hospice

The human race is moving through a change in consciousness, and part of that change is how we think about our life and death.  Thoughts of death as a time of transition, celebration, and renewal have come into our present way of thinking; for the reality of death is not to be feared.  I choose to approach the subject of death not as the end of life’s journey, not just the end to this earthly life, but as the beginning of our next true adventure of life.

As part of a team of compassionate and supportive individuals, I assist a person in healing life’s emotions, transitioning from earthly life to what they believe to be everlasting life, and support the dying person in the last stages of life. I can also assist the family members in their time of letting go, grief and understanding.

A person I was honored to sit with once told me: “we are all stories, simple or complex. We all have dramas, our ups and downs. We all experience sorrow and joy and have heroes and villains alike. We are all the same with a difference. Once you learn what you thought was real, wasn’t real at all, then you let go and finally forgive, that is all there really is.” As a part of the hospice team, my role is to find the forgiveness.

I am often called upon by a family member to sit with a client. In the session I listen, observe and inquire about the healing the client is searching/asking for and how we can achieve this goal together. During my presence, I am continually transferring healing energy to the client and clearing the room of negative energy. Conversation is not necessary and in most cases not needed to “know” the healing needs and transfer the healing energy. Each individual is treated with respect and compassion. My purpose is to bring understanding and love to the transitioning process and to assure the client that they are never alone in their journey.

The charge for this service is $60 per session. Majority of the hospice sessions last approximately one hour. Sessions can be held in person or on the internet using Skype...
