The Essence of Healing

We all experience healing in many forms throughout our lives. Our physical bodies heal with healthy food, vitamins, minerals and herbs. Our minds heal with positive thoughts and affirmations. Our spirits heal with prayer and intention. We heal on these levels because we exist as mind, body and spirit.

Many methods of healing seem disconnected as if they had nothing to do with one another. Nutrients seem to have nothing to do with intention or meditation. Affirmations seem to have no connection with healing energy.
In order to find such a common underlying process we must look deep into the essence of life. We must look deep into our bodies and the molecules that form them. When we do we find a fundamental process that is common to all life. We find that life has the special ability to evolve to higher levels of organization.
This ability is special because life exists in a universe that becomes more disorganized over time. Life’s special ability has to do with having a constant supply of something that keeps it from degenerating into disorganization. That something is called information.

Not only are we connected but we also exchange information with living and non-living things. A growing number of elite scientists now believe that all matter and energy consist of information. Information is at the essence of all things.

Your existence extends beyond your cells and physical body. Your being extends out making connections with the universe around you. These connections communicate information between you and the universe.

You are an informational system. In order to keep on living you must somehow gather and integrate information into your being. The same goes for healing. Healing is an extension of the same underlying process of living.

Think of how one heals. Generally there is some sort of process in the body that causes disorder. For example a cancerous tumor may spread disorder throughout the system. Healing occurs when order is restored. Decreasing disorder is a result of the infusion of information. Perhaps a sick individual uses a number of information sources to restore order or heal from the cancer. They may consist of such modalities as medications, nutrients and mind-body techniques.

We can view ourselves as existing on several informational levels. For example, the molecules of your body contain information in how they are put together. Exposing these molecules to information sources such as nutrients constitutes an exchange of information.

What are the prospects of understanding healing in terms of information? For one, all healing systems can be described as essentially doing the same thing, which is sending healing information to the body. Alternative and mainstream systems become part of the same underlying information-transferring process.

How can you use information to heal? The beginning of all healing should begin with intention. Intention solidifies your purpose to heal and directs your actions so that healing information flows to you. Next you can look at all healing modalities as sources of information and trust your intuition. Your belief in a certain healing technique can really work to open up channels in order to maximize the flow of healing information to you. Also be aware that there is power in synergism.

Understanding healing in terms of exchanges of information may open up new fields of study such as informational medicine or informational healing. New systems of healing could emerge that combine techniques that may have previously seemed unrelated.

In the future alternative and mainstream practitioners may be able to communicate and work together with a common understanding of healing. If science is already beginning to understand matter and energy in terms of information perhaps the healing arts will soon follow.

Prayer in Time of Suffering

Behold me, my beloved Healer, weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings, I cast myself at Your feet, that You may renew my strength and my courage, while I rest here in Your Presence.

Permit me to lay down my cross in Your Sacred Heart, for only Your infinite goodness can sustain me; only Your love can help me bear my cross; only Your powerful hand can lighten its weight.
O Divine Healer, whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted, I wish to live in You; suffer and die in You. During my life be to me my model and my support; at the hour of my death, be my hope and my refuge.

Amen.

What is Spiritual Healing?

Often called energy healing, some often refer to it as the ‘laying of hands’.Through out history, it has been shown that healing uses channeled energy from source and the universe that is drawn down through the ‘healers’ own energy channel and through their own hands.

The energy which flows through the healer, sets out to re-balance, unblock and renew every cell that has become imbalanced and damaged. It is thought that every thought which is negative, emotional stress and unresolved issues in an individuals life also affects your energy levels. Through healing it helps to alleviate these issues but at this stage does not yet over take conventional medicine but sets out to complement it.

Whenever we hold stress, worries or negative thoughts, if this is not released, transmuted or healed.  Then at later periods, it is possible that it forms into different types of ailments.  For example: If you have a sore throat, the throat chakra may well be blocked. This is known to house expression and communication.  When this is blocked you could say you were “Stuck for words” or “I can’t seem to get what I wanted to say off my chest”

We are all healers, one way or another we make someone happier. An act of kindness, a gesture of good will or even a notion of giving.  When we walk down a street and exchange conversation with a stranger, you do not know how you may have affected that individual for the day. That person could be lonely or have a hidden issue or numerous issues and you have just brightened up their day. It can change their lives.

You as an individual may hold an inner calling, to branch out into a variety of more spiritual practices. A we are individually evolving there is a need to help to assist the vast ray of population right now.  They are raising their own vibrational frequencies by shedding and letting go of our lower ones.  Some people will naturally be drawn to spiritual healing, others may not choose that path, as they have their own role to fulfill in life.

Most healers are sensitives and some people know it as sixth sense.  A healer works with patients energy systems such as the chakras and auric fields not the actual condition its self. That is one of the major differences between spiritual healing and the western medicine model.

As Spiritual healing advances it will also extend to up and coming areas such as becoming a medical intuitive. In the terms of using vibrational medicine within the context of healing the multidimensional health aspects of a patient. The in simpler terms means attending to the whole person, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

A spiritual healer however channel unconditional love from  the source our creator, our universe. Enabling you to be filled with light and love and the ability to pass it on to the healee. The energy chakras and the auric field is restored  and balanced.

“Problems sometimes buried deep in the subconscious, are brought to the surface to be dealt with .  This is because the decision is part of the healers evolution as a person” Angelo.,J.(2000)p71.

It is that what is buried deep down which causes stress, upset and illness if not treated, to heal energetically, the healer helps to resurface the issues to be addressed and healed. This call from healing comes from synchronicity with the evolving spirit within the patient. It would surface at a time which is appropriate for the issues or illness to be dealt with.It is advisable and practical to gain a counseling skills certificate in order to help assist this process.

Once healing has taken place it will generally lift the person up. What is really happening is that the vibrancy has been raised and shifted the frequency within the individual to sometimes a higher plane.

Is Anger the Cause?

Why Anger like all other emotions, are an important part of our survival mechanism. Anger is a very important emotion because Anger is something to get us to take action; this is good however emotions also are a learning process.

We may learn a negative association with anger and it will create a program or pattern that will start every time we think or feel these emotions of anger and any other emotions that can be associated with the original incident that created this program or pattern.

Most people are not aware of is that this negative program or pattern has far more detrimental affects on how our complete physiology, it creates a disturbance or block in our subtle Human Energy Fields that surround and run throughout our bodies.

Generally most people have heard of the Aura and Chakras these become disturbed which in turn over time can affect our Health because anger is associated the liver if the liver is not working correctly over a long period of time our general health is affected.

Although a simple example  when we hang on to anger we also have other emotions and these will disturb many of our other Chakras and many other organs and functions within our bodies.

How to correctly deal with emotions is to acknowledge you have had an emotional experience. Then you need to create a positive association or to find a positive association with these emotions and then you say to your self I let go of these emotional feelings. If you do this you will not create these negative programs.

When you are aware that you have these negative programs or patterns from past events or incidents you can remove them by following the same action and change the meaning of these programs from negative to positive and restore the Life Energy Field that were disturbed due to association with this incident.

When you feel unwell, lacking energy or feel ill you may wish to visit a competent Energy Healer who understands this and can identify and remove these negative programs or pattern for you. This can be done as distance healing and is painless.

Does Alternative Medicine Work?

The growth of alternative medicine over the past few decades has been rapid and the number of alternative medicine practitioners grows by the day. With thousands of private complementary health practitioners and an increase in GPs offering alternative therapies there is no doubting its popularity and continued movement toward professional healthcare validation. However the question about alternative medicine remains – does it work? Acupuncture, reflexology and therapeutic touch are now non-conventional therapies people will consider having when thinking beyond conventional medical practices.

Certainly if you posed the question of whether alternative medicine works to people in the Far East the answer would be a resounding ‘yes’. Many alternative medicine techniques and therapies began in places like China and India centuries ago and are integral to their healthcare systems. With that degree of use and such a rich history there must be a high level of confidence in its effectiveness.

If you speak to many physicians the argument against alternative medicine is that it is not proven to work. This is a somewhat blinkered opinion as it is based on a comparison with traditional pharmaceutical drug testing. Before drugs can be prescribed they must go through rigorous clinical trials using a broad cross-section of society and performed over a period of years under the supervision of trained research teams. The industry goes to great lengths to highlight this clinical process and show that the evidence is scientific fact. But alternative medicine has been put through equally rigorous tests by research teams around the world; it’s just not as well documented.

Only now are we beginning to see the outcomes of these tests as demand for alternative medicine increases. And as demand increases, so the clinical trials into complementary and alternative therapies will increase. We should also be careful to dismiss practices that have been used successfully for thousands of years in other countries.

Another argument against alternative medicine is that evidence is anecdotal and based purely on personal experience of a therapy. But then the same argument could be true of conventional drug treatment. It is only because a clinical trial has taken place that the drug is deemed to work for everyone. That’s not always the case. How often has someone told you to take a certain drug for an ailment as it worked for them only to find that it didn’t work for you? It’s true that certain conditions require traditional treatment but that’s not to say that alternative medicine cannot be used alongside it. A popular benefit with alternative medicine is that it doesn’t have the nasty side-effects or discomfort that pharmaceutical drugs can have.
Alternative medicine is effective and can work for you

Alternative medicine is matter of choice. There are many therapies and techniques to choose from that can fit in with your ideas about health and well-being. Alternative medicine can help with a variety of conditions illnesses and approaches health in a holistic way. Concern for the body as a whole and the use of natural herbal remedies really can target a specific illness. So to answer the question – yes, alternative medicine does work if you find the therapy that works for you.

Energy Healing And Karma

Karma is a Sanskrit word that means action. Not only physical action, but also thought in action and word in action.

On the other hand the karma is also the law of cause and effect, that is to say that the words, thoughts and actions of our past lives, generate impressions in the causal body, which then are manifested as the karma by which we have to go through in this life.

We all have a nature that is pure, luminous, and that it is not contaminated by any mental factor, but when the poisons of the attachment and the ignorance, become part of our mind as a karmic consequence, the physical manifestation of the illness takes place.

Subtle negative energy that can come from other human beings and from the astral plane. The karma  although I have highlighted it as the fourth item, the karma is in fact not only a source of illnesses, but a source that contains and causes the three previous causes.

The emotions, the attitudes and the beliefs, can also have a negative effect in the person’s health, but the health is ultimately determined by the karma.

The first thing that we should understand is that everybody will die in some moment, either for a terminal illness, or for a slide in the bathing tub. Then the objective of the healing is not to avoid a person death. This is outside of the reach of any human being.

A person can recover from a sickness and not be healed from it, this way the karmic roots of that illness might make it appear again in this same life or in the following one, or they will make the person go through similar pain situations until he learns what the karma intended to teach him.

Once we have been able to eliminate the physical manifestations of the illness, we might consider ourselves cured, but this is not necessarily true. If the illness has had a karmic origin, and the person has not received a psychic healing, that same illness or another situation that makes the person go through the same kind of experiences, will show up again.

Once you have the desire to do good, you need to offer yourself to God, so that it uses us as a healing channel. This is the reason why the healer can not be affected by the sick person’s negative energy, neither he should fear in any way the damage of his own energy, since it is not his own energy the one that he should transmit, he is only acting as a channel for the Divine energy.

The chakras are thousands of energy centers that are distributed throughout the whole body, although there are 7 bigger chakras that are aligned along the spine, from the root, to the crown.

The chakras of a healthy person are open and they work in a harmonic form, affecting this way all the functions of the body. While in a sick person they are blocked or they work in insufficient way.
The base of the healing is the restoration of the good flow of the energy through the chakras.

Tips For Recognizing Intuition

Knowing what your intuition is telling you is a valuable tool on the path of spiritual growth. In recognizing and following your intuition, you can be guided from your Spirit, your Higher Self rather than just your mind.

Your Higher Self sees the big picture of your life and can help you take the shortcuts and choose the best path for you which is a wonderful gift!

Here are 5 tips on recognizing your intuition:

1. On this Path, Fear is Not Always Intuition

On the path of manifesting your dream, when you are experiencing fear, it typically means that in that moment you can not see clearly. You are seeing through filters of the past that want to keep you safe, protected from any pain you had experienced in the past.

Fear is most often an illusion that holds you back, rather than an intuitive message telling you not to do something.

In my experience, fear is only showing you that you have reached the boundaries of your comfort zone. This is something to be celebrated as your dreams are always beyond your comfort zone!

Fear does not always have to be walked through, especially if it is a deep or intense fear. It is most often better to heal it at it’s source. And in releasing the fear, you can more easily hear your true inner guidance.

2. Your Intuition is Positive and Encouraging

Your intuition is a positive, encouraging voice and would never motivate you out of fear. I guess in some cases a sinking negative feeling could be your intuition telling you something is wrong or that you need to take physical precaution for your own safety, but that’s not what we’re talking about here.

We’re talking about wanting to create a life that reflects who you really are, that is a joyful experience for you to live and allows you to express who you really are and live abundantly.

And on this path, your intuition will speak in a quiet, positive, encouraging voice or nudge. It speaks softly, so you may have to listen closely to hear it!

3. Your Intuition Resonates Deep Within You

When you get an intuitive insight or message, you will feel it resonate within you. You are in intuitive person, which means you have the added gift of KNOWING what feels right, rather than needing it to be proved to you through logic.

If you see a book and suddenly feel an energy or a resonance within you, know that this is you feeling your intuition.

When this happens, see if you can find out what your intuition is guiding you to do. Perhaps it’s to open the book and get a message, perhaps it’s to buy the book as it has exactly what you need in it for your next step.

4. Your Intuition Is Easier to Recognize the More You Use It!

Everyone is different and their intuition speaks to them in different ways. So the best way to find out how your intuition works for you is to use it! Test it out on smaller things like “Where should we go for dinner?” or “Which shirt will make me feel more energized today?”

By using it, you will begin to see the results of following your intuition and that is how it will strengthen. When you see where you are led when you follow your intuition and find it is to good results, you will begin to trust yourself and your intuition much more. This will allow it to develop even more!

5. Intuition is Not Always Black and White

Your intuition operates beyond the logical mind that always thinks in terms of either/or, yes/no. Your intuition recognizes the gray area. It knows that there are infinite choices and paths for you and that there is really no such thing as a wrong choice.

Your intuition is messages from your soul, which may see “both” instead of “A or B”. In this case, asking A or B is irrelevant. So rather than thinking of your intuition as something that will give you a concrete “Yes” or “No”, see it as more of a playful thing that can guide you in a more elusive way.

Release the need for the concrete and give yourself permission to be more playful with it!
